  • Interval Training & Walking Lanes

    Interval training or speed workouts on the track and turf at Jim Gustafson Field: for beginning runners, individuals training for a road race, and former track athletes. Intervals will be from 10 seconds to 2 minutes in length. All abilities are welcome with a focus on personal improvement in running speed. Workouts will be designed with the needs of masters runners in mind. Injury prevention will be paramount. Two outside lanes will be available for walkers, providing a great opportunity for those who prefer a lower-impact workout while still enjoying the energy of the group setting. Whether you're building endurance, easing back into activity, or simply looking for a way to stay active, walking the track is a fantastic option. NOTE: You do not need to stay the full 2 hours.
