    Coed Basketball Camp for Grades 3rd-8th Campers will learn a variety of skills taught by the Albert Lea head boys and girls basketball coaches and assisted by the varsity boys basketball team. Each camper will practice basketball skills and learn drills to do with teammates and on their own.     This Cross Country Camp is for beginner runners who would like to know more about running. Topics discussed are; What is Cross Country?, Preparation for running, equipment for running, safety and running. Each day runners will be running 1-2 miles. The class will meet rain or shine.

    These sessions are for dancers interested in dance team conditioning. We will be focusing on strength, endurance, flexibility, form, and technique as well as specific skill work. Please have cross trainers, dance shoes and bring a water bottle to camp each day. No class June 19, 26 or 27, July 4-6.

This 4 hour refresher is for those who have already taken the initial 8 Hour Driver Discount Course within the last 3 years and would like to maintain a 10% discount on auto insurance.     WHAT IS ECFE? Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is an Albert Lea Area Schools program that provides parenting information and support for parents with children ages Birth to Grade 3. Parent-child activities and classes are also available for families with children ages Birth to 5 years old (not yet enrolled in kindergarten). A variety of classes, preschool options, and outreach activities are offered for all age groups. What does a typical ECFE class include? Parent-Child Activity Time Families explore a classroom filled with developmentally appropriate play materials and learning activities planned by a licensed early childhood teacher. Parent Education Time Parents meet with a licensed parent educator to share support, experiences, and information about child development and parenting techniques.
