Tiger Cub Child Care is available to children ages six weeks through Preschool age, providing we can meet the needs of that child. We follow the District #241 school calendar and operate from 6:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.

Drivers aged 55 and above are encouraged to sign up for our defensive driving courses. These sessions will help you enhance your driving skills and develop a fresh understanding of traffic safety.
Our day trips are organized in collaboration with Austin, Owatonna, and Waseca Community Educations, as well as the Albert Lea Senior Center. Experience a day full of adventure with a relaxing bus ride, eliminating the need for driving.

I am a Parent Educator at Albert Lea Early Learning. I have lived in our community for the past ten years with my husband and three young children. My family has attended several of the Early Childhood Family Education classes in district 241. I am excited to be a part of this team and I look forward to being on this parenting journey with you!
Hello, my name is Mary Jo Volkman, ECFE Parent Educator at Brookside School. For 29 years I have worked with families attending classes at ECFE teaching Babies, Toddlers & Twos, 3-5’s, Special Topic Parenting Classes, and Special Events. I will always treasure the memories I have made helping families with their children, meeting wonderful friends, and associating with my co-workers. I am looking forward to creating more wonderful memories and teaching experiences this school year!
