Tiger Cub Child Care is available to children ages six weeks through Preschool age, providing we can meet the needs of that child. We follow the District #241 school calendar and operate from 6:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.

Our day trips are organized in collaboration with Austin, Owatonna, and Waseca Community Educations, as well as the Albert Lea Senior Center. Experience a day full of adventure with a relaxing bus ride, eliminating the need for driving.

This four week series of NATURE will help children appreciate the wonders of their environment and the world around them. The topics will be; insects, animals, ecology, and weather. Studying nature provides opportunities for discovery, exploration, creativity, problem solving, and STEM education. Every session your child will receive a FREE book about the topic for the week.

Hello, my name is Mary Jo Volkman, ECFE Parent Educator at Brookside School. For 29 years I have worked with families attending classes at ECFE teaching Babies, Toddlers & Twos, 3-5’s, Special Topic Parenting Classes, and Special Events. I will always treasure the memories I have made helping families with their children, meeting wonderful friends, and associating with my co-workers. I am looking forward to creating more wonderful memories and teaching experiences this school year!
