Tiger Cub Child Care is available to children ages six weeks through Preschool age, providing we can meet the needs of that child. We follow the District #241 school calendar and operate from 6:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m.
A variety of opportunities for youth to learn, grow and build friendships.
Drivers aged 55 and above are encouraged to sign up for our defensive driving courses. These sessions will help you enhance your driving skills and develop a fresh understanding of traffic safety.
The courses will address financial obligations, future planning, budgeting, income, career development, spending habits, credit management, saving, and investments.
Our day trips are organized in collaboration with Austin, Owatonna, and Waseca Community Educations, as well as the Albert Lea Senior Center. Experience a day full of adventure with a relaxing bus ride, eliminating the need for driving.

Located by the Brookside Boat Landing
Our recreation experiences teaches you skills through hands on learning.
Our Wood, Water, Wildlife classes get students learning hands-on outdoor skills in a safe and welcoming environment. Students will have the opportunity to explore the natural world around them.
Transportation to and from activity sites will be provided by Experiential Education. Students will be picked up at Door D14 near the Southwest Middle School Tennis Courts at the end of the school day. Parent pick-up is at 5:00pm at the same location.
These classes are offered at no cost thanks to a generous grant from the Austin, MN Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America.

Snowshoeing & Shelter BuildingDate: March 6 | Location: Brookside BoathouseJoin us for an afternoon of snowshoeing and winter shelter building! Students will learn how to properly wear snow shoes, how to move around in them and get to explore nature in winter. We will stop and build winter shelters during our walk and talk about how to stay warm and dry in a cold, wet environment. Snow gear including boots, snow pants, gloves or mittens, a coat and a winter hat are highly recommended, as we will be playing in the snow.
Fat Tire BikingDate: March 27 | Location: Brookside BoathouseBike with Experiential Ed through the winter landscape around Brookside Park and Fountain Lake. We will ride bikes equipped to handle whatever the winter throws at us, be it water, mud or snow. Snow gear including boots, snow pants, gloves or mittens, a coat and a winter hat are highly recommended, as we will be playing in the snow.
