Holiday Pie Baking

Adult Enrichment / Food/Cooking -
Fall 2025

Get ready for the holiday season with this hands-on pie-making class! Each participant will make their own individual holiday pie from scratch, choosing from classic favorites like pumpkin, sweet potato, apple, peach, cherry, or blueberry. Bonnie will guide you through the process step by step, from mixing the filling to crafting the crust. No need to bring supplies—everything is provided, and you’ll leave with a fully baked pie and the confidence to make more at home. Perfect for anyone looking to sharpen their baking skills or start a new holiday tradition.

Bonnie M Townsend

I've been making ice cream for over 20 years—a skill I learned by watching my mother. On March 2, 2020, I took a leap and started my own company because I knew I had a gift for creating innovative products, especially when it comes to ice cream.

Throughout my journey, I earned my food manager certification, which qualifies me to teach both cooking and proper kitchen sanitation. I even went as far as inventing and patenting my own ice cream, and to date, I’ve developed over 300 flavors—and I’m still counting!

I own a commercial soft serve machine and a mini donut press, which I use to teach others how to make both soft-serve ice cream and mini donuts. I’ve also created a dairy-free ice cream line and a sugar-free option for diabetic children and others who need it—because I want everyone to feel seen and included.

I’m a disabled business owner, and I’m passionate about sharing what I’ve learned. I enjoy helping others—especially those who want to start a business but don’t have the resources. I do a lot of research and pride myself on being resourceful.

I’m excited for this new opportunity to show people how fun, creative, and simple dessert-making can be!
