In this hands-on cooking class, you'll learn how to make Pad Kra Pow, a classic Thai dish known for its bold blend of sweet, spicy, and savory flavors. This stir-fry is traditionally made with fresh basil, ground meat, and a delicious sauce that can be customized to your preferred spice level. Served over a bed of warm rice, it's a comforting and satisfying meal you'll want to make again and again.
Participants will receive step-by-step guidance and tips to recreate this dish at home. Please bring a small bottle of your preferred cooking oil (such as canola, vegetable, or avocado oil) to use during class. All other ingredients will be provided.
I cook in my daily life and would like to share this passion with others. I would like to teach the community about Karen traditional foods. The Karen Community always hold special events at my church and I am one of the cooks, cooking for 100+ people. I love to cook and I love to eat. Cooking is my passion!
