Melodies & Motion: A Music class for Little Ones and Caregivers is an engaging and interactive experience designed to foster early musical development and strengthen the bond between children and their caregivers. Through singing, movement and playful activities, participants will explore music in ways that spark joy and stimulate learning. This class welcomes all types of caregivers and encourages a nurturing, active and fun-filled environment.
I've been teaching elementary music in Albert Lea since 2017. I am Kodaly certified, have received Feierabend First Steps and Conversational Solfege Training and have an MM with a Kodaly emphasis. all of these certifications make me qualified to teach music with a research based, in a pedagogically sound approach that is developmentally appropriate for the age of the child. I have also attended parent-child music classes with my own child, so I understand what it's like to be on the caregiver side of music classes.
