Intro to Yoga Basics

Yoga Basics for those new to yoga, taught in a comfortable environment. This class will introduce the fundamentals of a yoga practice, including breath work, proper alignment, and mindfulness. It is structured to be useful to for those trying to work around injuries. Experienced yogis may use this class to develop self-awareness and refine their practice. Chairs are available for those who need additional support or cannot stand up from the floor. Mats are available. Yoga practices are traditional done with bare feet, but if shoes are necessary for support, please bring a clean pair for inside the studio.

Yoga is practiced on a yoga mat (extra mats are available). Wear stretchy snug fitted clothing that you can move easily in. Blocks, chairs and support pillows are available. Yoga is practiced with bare feet for your safety. Please hydrate well. Blankets are available, or if you want to bring your own, the room can be a bit chilly." 

Class is located at the Northbridge Mall. The room is to the right of D&D Boutique. The windows are blacked out for privacy.

Hello and welcome to yoga. Who am I? Wife, mother, animal lover, master gardener, substitute teacher, and certified yoga instructor. My yoga is considered a slo-flo, gentle sequence, suitable for all levels. Why yoga? It helps me slow down and focus on living healthy and feeling well.
